The mission of the Hope Organization for Peace and Development (HOPD) is to build hope, protect human dignity, and promote lasting peace through inclusive humanitarian action, quality education, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), community development, and environmental protection.
Organization Identity
Hope Organization for Peace and Development (HOPD) is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization established in 2018 in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and formally registered at the federal level in 2019.
HOPD operates across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus, delivering integrated, rights-based programming to support vulnerable and conflict-affected communities across Iraq. Through locally driven approaches and alignment with international standards, HOPD ensures measurable, sustainable, and scalable impact.
